"I did have one scare though, when I came in from the second practice session I heard some noise coming from the rear end as I rolled back down to my pit area. I got out and checked the diff and there is diff fluid everywhere, and the diff is way too hot to touch. I just had a new diff built by diffsonline, and MSR is really hard on diffs because of a couple tight, slow, off camber corners and I was thinking I've just burned it up completely. So I drain out the Mobil 1 gear oil and check for any metallic stuff, but it looked clean! We filled it back up with Redline gear oil and that seemed to help... no more leaking diff fluid. I was amazed that the diff still worked perfectly despite the overheating."

"Dan at diffsonline is fantastic! I use a diffsonline unit in my racecar and it takes abuse lap after lap and holds up! Plus, on a sidenote, Dan is one of the only guys in automotive performance that delivers on time...like if you need something and it has to be done before a given race weekend. as for how the 3.64 feels over the 3.15...like someone just kicked you in the a$$ when you exit a turn...get on the throttle and power on outta there, unlike a sluggish stocker. IMO the diff is critical to have if you are competing, everyone out there will have one so you need it! As for dropping your laptimes, I think it will but I cannot say buy how much though..."
